Advertising – 70%/ 30% editorial, trans and non-trans adverts

Trans people have higher levels of education and employment than the national average making them valuable consumers. They show greater loyalty to brands that recognize and communicate with the trans community.

The magazine is currently 70/30% weighted in favor of editorial. We offer great stand out value and we offer rich media advertising with fully interactive direct links to your web site.

Frock features not only relevant trans community products and services but specially chosen advertising from big brands that want to reach out to transgender people. Many big brands recognize diversity and we invite them to connect with our readers.

What dimensions and resolutions should my ads be in?

Full Page Ad Ad SizesIf you will be providing your own artwork, you'll need to know what our criteria for the various different ads we offer.

All magazine ads must be hi-res - that is, they must have a resolution of at least 300dpi. This is so that when readers who are viewing them on small iPad type screens zoom in, they won't go all pixelly.

We do not require a bleed but it's always handy to leave a margin on about 3mm all around, just in case we ever actually print some copies of your issue.

A Full Page ad is A4 sized - that is 2480 pixels wide x 3508 pixels high. Obviously, a Double Page Spread is the same height but twice the width, so that's 4960 pixels wide x 3508 pixels high.

A Half Page Ad is 2480 pixels wide x 1754 pixels high.

A Quarter Page ad is 1240 pixels wide x 1754 pixels high and an Eighth of a Page sized advert is 1240 pixels wide x 877 pixels high.

We prefer to receive artwork in either hi-res JPEG or PDF format and if your file sizes are too large to send by email, you are welcome to use our dropbox at

When you click the 'Select File' button, you can select a number of files at once rather than having to upload them individually. Oh, and don't forget to say who you are so we know who's sending the files. Thanks.
